"Each thought is like a stone dropped into a lake, sending ripples out into our world to affect all they touch."
This post is more of a ‘continuation’ of the ‘Your Life’ post below (go here) …
So, what can you (or, rather, ‘the average person’) do during your busy, hectic days to find/make time to grow within yourself, spiritually, and hence also use that growth and change to better all other aspects of your life (including your business)?
Well, for one thing, try to stop thinking so much about how busy and hectic and stressful your days are. The life you are living today IS the journey you are on … in sooo many ways! I don’t care if you ’stop to smell the roses’, but if you don’t at least take some time to be grateful for what blessings you have, no matter how big or small, and to cherish those moments that bring you the most joy and happiness, then you’re ‘living by default’, as I like to say.
In other words, don’t live simply to die … live to LIVE MORE … ENJOY the journey each moment along the way!
Take the time (or ‘make’, if you prefer - however you have to look at it) to read something positive before you get your day started, and do so every day. Make a habit of it. Scientifically speaking, it takes 21 days of a repeated thought/action to create a ‘habit’. You don’t have to be a ‘junkie’ about it … just make a habit of a few new or different things in your life, and watch how your life changes!
I posted here quite awhile back (here) about the highly-acclaimed My Daily Insights email subscription. Other than on Fridays, when they send out a more lengthy ’Friday Story’, the My Daily Insights emails usually take 20 seconds or less to read, they are ALWAYS positive and thought-provoking, and CAN set the tone for your entire day!
Here’s another idea that’s really simple and stress-free, that I also talk about more in-depth in my ebook, Peak Performance … Peak LIFE! (click that link and get it for free right now!) …
Most people bathe on a daily basis. It’s part of your routine, right? Well, why not take a bit of that ‘alone time’ (assuming you bathe alone, that is
), and think about some of the things you’re grateful for, happy for, and some of the things you want to change/do/have/be/etc in your future? For most of us, there isn’t a much better time during our days to think about those types of things, or to spend even just a few moments in gratitude for the blessings we have. Besides, there’s something to be said about cleaning the body while cleansing the mind and soul at the same time, allowing all of the dirt and grime of any ‘negative’ wash away. Try it - you’ll see what I mean!
Personally, I worked very hard to change negative habits, to channel the inherent positive attitudes and energies that I believe we are all born with. And, to this day, I have my ‘bad moments’, just like the next guy does. But, it’s how you look at those ‘bad moments’ and what you do with them from that point forward that really matters. Keep in mind, you aren’t going to change overnight, but if you don’t put the passion to grow behind action, then change never will happen other than by re-active or forced change, which most of us will fight against, sub-consciously at least, and may even self-sabotage because of, in that fighting effort.
When you take control and take responsibility for your own spiritual growth, personal development, etc, then change doesn’t ‘happen to you’ … you allow and encourage it to happen for you by way of setting it into motion to begin with. And, believe me, no one is more in charge of your life than YOU, my friend! It’s up to you, and you can do it.
Start today - right now!
Believe in yourself!

Hey, friends! Just a quick note to point out 2 things …
One of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE sites, in over 13 years online now, is SelfGrowth.com. I added a link to it there on the left side under ‘Links’, but wanted to point it out to you in a regular post, too. You should check it out (daily!). David Riklan is truly a class act (and no, he isn’t paying me to say this - lol!). Just go here now!
Also, while you’re there, check out my new Empowerment/Spiritual Growth/Motivational Expert page. Let me know your thoughts, when you have a chance. I’m proud of how it came out, and I hope you get a lot out of it.
Be well, my friends!

How is your life unfolding? Do you have the ability to step back and take a look ‘from the outside’, as if to be a spectator viewing your life and its most impacting events?
To be as successful as you can possibly be, you have to learn to take that look, almost as a third-person point of view. Doing so, and practicing this more and more, you should be able to see why and how certain events in your past … certain decisions you’ve made and actions you’ve taken, have affected your life’s ‘what happened next’, and how your decisions and actions TODAY will affect and impact your TOMORROW.
Now, let me be clear about something, my friends: None of this is hard. None of this should be difficult or stressful. Of course, it doesn’t happen all on its own; you have to put passion into action, so to speak. But, my belief, and what I want to help people understand, is that personal development, spiritual growth, etc, should NOT be hard or stressful!
So many of the self-help programs, books, and the like tend to create an incredible amount of stress on people. Most of us don’t have an hour a day to meditate (altho, it doesn’t hurt, if you can make the time, and the benefits can be life-altering). Most of us don’t have ‘nothing else going on’ to where we can just sit and think positive thoughts or repeat positive affirmations (again, doesn’t hurt to do it, but who has the time to focus on just that?). Reading positive books is AWESOME … and, yes, you have to ‘make the time’ to do that, but most of us have so much else going on in our lives, just between work and family, that it’s often hard to find time to be able to ‘make the time’.
And, when you have a goal of changing something about yourself, improving your life in one way or another, growing spiritually, and so on, the LAST thing you really need (or want) is to feel STRESSED over the process of ‘getting there’.
If you need my help with this, please feel free to get in touch with me. I’m currently taking on as many new coaching clients as possible, with a goal of changing at least 500 more lives by the end of 2008, so get in touch and reserve your spot on my schedule TODAY!
Comments about this post are, as always, most welcomed!
Thanks for being with me!

Hey, Friends:
OK, OK I can hear it now: ”Wow - two posts in one day … is Coach B sick or something?” LOL! No, I’m just groovy, amigos … doin’ great!! But I got this email from Sue asking about Nikki’s quilts (which I told you all about a few days ago), and she said she wondered if I could post a picture of one of Nikki’s inspirational quilts here because she can only get online from work, and her boss has a block set on any of the employees going to ebay.com. (Well, can’t blame the guy, right? Like your boss would want you ebaying while you’re supposed to be working!)
Anyway, so I thought I’d post a pic here for you all, for one thing. For another, I thought I’d ’sweeten the deal’, as they say in the marketing world. So, here’s my spoonful of added sugar …
If you buy one of Nikki’s quilts (any of them, that is), and email me once you’ve purchased, I will email you the link to my download page for the One Question To Success package. Yes, the entire package (normally $47 - $97, depending on which of my regular offers for it you respond to), all yours, all free as a bonus for buying one of my beautiful gal’s awesome quilts (which are a complete STEAL to start with, mind you)!
So, here’s a pic, and you can see everything she has listed at her ebay store and auctions via www.nikkiskeepsakes.com.
Thanks for your question, Sue!

Let me ask you a question … When do you have your most inspiring thoughts?
For me, I’ve found that I have my most inspiring, motivating thoughts when I’m lying in bed at nite. This is a great time to think, without any distractions, and really tap into your ‘inner-most muse’, so to speak. And, when you hear that voice in your head, listen to it with undivided attention!
A practice/habit I try to coach my clients on is to keep a journal at their bedside. When you have those quiet-time, bedtime thoughts and inspirations, make note of them. You can have life-altering thoughts, even when you least expect it, just lying in bed and clearing your mind of all of the day’s worries and stresses. Let go of it all for just a few moments, and allow that inner voice to speak to you.
Ya know, I got an email from a prospective coaching client just this morning asking me a very intriguing question that I wanted to share with you today … He asked, ‘Reading your ebooks, Peak Performance … Peak LIFE! and One Question To Success, I got the strong sense that your coaching is based more on the spiritual than anything else. Is that your forte, or am I misreading?’
Thanks for your question, Jeremy! And, no, you aren’t misreading. My focus/forte, Jeremy (and all who want to know but haven’t asked), is spiritual development. Need more of a definition of that? Well, basically, I utilize my spirituality and intuition to help others tap into and develop their own spirituality and intuition … or, at least, to learn to follow that inner voice, become more spiritually centered and at peace within their lives, and, oftentimes, to then channel that energy into their professional and personal lives.
I use the term ‘Success Coach’ and ‘Life Success Coach’, but I also use the term ‘Spiritual Electrician’ (coined, to the best of my knowledge, by my good friend and author, Caroline McIntosh). So, what is a ‘Spiritual Electrician’? Well, in layman’s terms, I suppose you would associate it with ‘helping to make the connections’. For example, I’ve coached folks who feel distressed, lost in what to do with their business or personal situations, unconfident, lacking, sick/ill, and so on, and helped them to turn around their lives.
And, to be clear, I don’t normally coach any of my clients for more than a few months at most. I depart as much knowledge, related experiences, intuitive guidance, and energy as possible in as short of a time span as possible, and guide (I prefer ‘guide’ vs ‘teach’) them to tap into their own intuitive guidance and energies that can take them to the next levels of their lifetime. Customer satisfaction rate? 100% positive, I’m very proud to say.
By the way, I’ve been getting emails from all over the world about my video blog and private blog/membership site idea. Not too many comments (what’s up with that, people?!?), but lots of emails, and I appreciate every one of them! The general consensus, at this point, is to put that idea into action. Most people say they would gladly pay $27 - $67 monthly to be a member of such a site, so keep your eyes out for that to all happen very soon (I’m working on it)! I doubt I’ll do any kind of huge, hyped-up pre-launch and launch type of get-up like you see all over the Internet right now with those types of offers, so you’ll just have to watch here for my updates. I’ll also be giving you all some Coach B TV videos to review soon so you can get a better idea of what will be ‘behind the closed doors’ once that offer goes live.
Thanks for being here, and thanks for being YOU!

“Life has no other discipline to impose, if we would but realize it, than to accept life unquestioningly. Everything we shut our eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny, denigrate or despise, serves to defeat us in the end. What seems nasty, painful, evil, can become a source of beauty, joy and strength, if faced with an open mind. Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognize it as such.” - Henry Miller
Friends,
Just a few thoughts on my mind today, as I wanted to spend a few minutes ‘catching up’ with you. I hope this post finds you well and MOST prosperous! (If not, get in touch with me … I can help!)
Here’s a quick motivational quote for you to think about today …
“No matter how qualified or deserving you are, you will never reach a better life until you can imagine it for yourself, and allow yourself to have it.”
I’m not sure who said that, but I took it from Richard Bach’s Messiah’s Handbook. Grab a copy of that if you don’t have it already. I’m sure you can find it on Amazon.com (I think that’s where I bought it from). It’s one of those ‘open to any page to find the answer to your problem’ type of books, and there isn’t one person in this world today who couldn’t use it.
That quote, by the way, is also used on one of my girlfriend’s inspirational quilts/wall hangings. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned her and her work here before, but I thought I’d throw it out there for you all to check out sometime, as you may be very interested to see what she does (and how well she does it … my unbiased opinion, of course - lol!
). Seriously, tho, she does AWESOME work, so check it out! You can see some of her eBay auctions by going to www.nikkiskeepsakes.com. Be sure to take a look at her Inspirational quilts/wall hangings, and if you know of a Hannah Montana fan, you’re going to LOVE some of her other work, too!
And speaking of something you’re going to love, I’ve had this idea for awhile to make this blog (or a private, paid-for-access one) a video blog instead of just text and the awesome template I use :P. Any thoughts on this from any of you wonderful readers? Let me know what you think. I’ve posted before with a link to one of my Coach B TV videos, and a lot of you have written to me saying how much you got out of it. So, I’m thinking of bringing Coach B TV to you via vlog (is that the correct term?). I’m pretty sure I’ll charge for access, tho, so let me know your thoughts on that, too, please.
OK - I’m off to create, and hopefully to check out the new John Edward Evolve dvd’s I ordered recently. Can’t wait for that (I’ll keep you posted)! I’ll be looking forward to hearing your comments. Oh - btw - if/when I do a ‘private blog’ thing, I’m sure it will be a membership site. You’ll be the first to know what’s up-&-coming, of course.
Stay tuned, and thanks for being here!

“Gratitude helps you to grow and expand; gratitude brings joy and laughter into your lives and into the lives of all those around you.” - Eileen Caddy, The Dawn of Change
Do you have an ‘attitude of gratitude’? Do you spend time daily giving thanks for the blessings in your life?
It’s said that the more grateful you are, the more you attract to you … and I’m a firm believer in this as well. For example, being grateful for whatever money you have will attract more money to you. If you don’t believe it, try it. Thousands of ‘teachers’ and millions of ’students’ of this school of thought can’t be wrong!
My girlfriend bought me The Secret Gratitude Book awhile back. It’s an excellent way to keep track, in journal-like form, of the blessings in your life for which you are grateful. Get yourself a regular notebook and start writing, daily, about the things you’re grateful for. You’re sure to become even more blessed in doing so!
Your thoughts? Feel free to chime in!
Thanks, friends!
